Challenge 2, Day 2: Tracy Anderson Metamorphosis

I have had a love-hate relationship with Tracy Anderson for the past two years. She is undoubtedly the creme de la creme when it comes to trainers who will transform your body. She is also incredibly demanding and makes you want to cry, yell, and beg her to stop making you work out.

Two years ago, I learned about Tracy (as I refer to her with utmost affection and loathing) when she published her 30-Day Method. I was out of shape and desperate for a great program to follow, so I ordered the book and committed to it. And by the end of the month after 7-days-a-week workouts, with a lot of sweat and tears shed, I got myself in great shape. You can read about my first TAM (Tracy Anderson Method) experience here. Later, when I needed to get in shape for the Miss DC pageant, I immediately turned to Tracy and her latest Metamorphosis program*. Again, she worked her magic, helped me shed almost 40 pounds, and got me in the best shape I have ever been in.

Since I am trying to reclaim that level of fitness and do even better, I am dusting off my Metamorphosis DVDs. This time, Travis is getting in on the Tracy action! We'll have to report back to you on how it all goes!

*Metamorphosis is a 90-day program. Every 10 days, you follow a different set of 30-minute toning exercises designed for your body type (Omnicentric, HIpcentric, Abcentric, and Glutecentric). There is also a 30-minute cardio DVD to follow every day. I typically choose to do high intensity interval training instead.
