There's no doubt about it - as wonderful as the holidays may be, they also come with a whole lot of stress! From picking out presents, setting a budget for those presents, figuring out travel plans, finalizing work projects, finishing finals for school, trying to avoid everyone's delicious homemade treats... the list goes on. It is not easy to relax during "the most wonderful time of the year!"

| Stress! It does NOT do a body good or a relationship good. |
Stress can turn fun-filled conversations into awkward silences, ruin romantic evenings, and fuel meaningless little tiffs between the greatest of lovers. Yes, despite all of our adorable couple pictures, we too have succumbed to the enemy that is stress.
But we have chosen to make our enemy our friend. Instead of allowing stress to get the better of us and turning on each other, we have tried to channel our frustrations with the busy-ness of everyday life into our workouts. The sweat from our brows and the burn in our glutes gets rid of our stress and the chances we have to start getting annoyed at each other. Exercising away our anxieties, frustrations, and worries leaves us with something much, much better - time to enjoy with each other. And we think that laughter, hugs, and kisses do a body way more good than stress ever could!
